Refund Policies

Online Courses:

Withdrawal From a Course:
Statistics.com has a flexible policy that recognizes that circumstances may arise that prevent you from taking a course as planned. You can withdraw from a course any time up to the start of the course and receive a full refund less a $25 processing charge. During the first 7 days of the course you can withdraw and receive a 50% refund. No refunds are available after the 7th day of the course. Note: If you have purchased a course package, refunds for courses cancelled after the first course will be given only as credit towards taking any future statistics.com course within 18 months of the cancellation. Please use this form to withdraw from a course.

Transferring to Another Course:
If you are registered in a course and find it is inappropriate for your needs, you may transfer your registration to another course, provided you do so prior to the end of the first week of class. There is a $25 processing fee per transfer if the course has not begun, a $99 fee if the course has already started. Please use this form to transfer to another course.

Course Cancellation:
Occasionally (less than 5% of the time) statistics.com must cancel a course due to low enrollment. We generally give a week's notice if this is the case. If you purchase a book for a course, please make note of the vendor's return policy at the time you purchase the book. If the course is cancelled, you also have the option of keeping the book and using it the next time this course is given.

Software:

If you are not satisfied with the operation of software purchased from statistics.com, you may obtain a full refund within 30 days of initial software delivery (whether evaluation version or full version) simply by mailing us a written statement (612 N. Jackson St., Arlington, VA 22201 USA) that the software has been removed from your system (be sure to include your invoice number). Note that you may receive delivery of evaluation copies of all software without prepayment.
